Count Dooku "It is time to start over"
Only 20 Jedi have ever renounced their order. Of those 20, Dooku is the latest and most powerful. Dooku disappeared for 9 or 10 years, only to resurface as the charismatic leader of a Separatist movement that seeks to maximise the profits of its members by campaigning for lower taxes, reduced tariffs, and the eventual abolition of all trade barriers. Dooku is an expert old-style swordsman, and his ability with a light saber proves harrowing, though not to the wiser and more powerful master Yoda. Yet even Dooku's evil ambitions and greedy new allies cannot compare to his shadowy master. Although Dooku skilfully brings the Republic to the brink of disaster, he is merely the instrument of a much greater evil.
Zam Wesell "It was just a job"
It is Zam's ASN-121 Assassin Droid that cuts open the windows of Padme's apartment, then releasing lethal kouhuns that make for the Senator while she sleeps. Jango and Zam have collaborated before, most notably when they delivered an idol into the hands of an Annoo-Dat terrorist. The idol turned out to be a deadly weapon and the two joined forces to prevent a cataclysm on Coruscant. Zam has also been a friend to Jango's clone son, Boba Fett.
