Jango wears the armoured, weapon-filled uniform that helped make the Mandalorians a dreaded name. It is one of the only surviving sets of this feared and elusive panoply. Mandaorians who could afford it commissioned backup suits of their armour. Fett has replacement armour for much of his suit, with additonal items that can be fitted for particular mission profiles. Some configurations stress brute-force armament, while others maximize non lethal weapons used for capturing quarry. The helmet design balances protection with tactical visibility and incorporates a pineal eye sensor which allows rear vision. The helmet also has a targeting rangefinder which swings down for sighting. Jango's protection is made up of segmented armour plates that allow flexibility, and vital organs are protected by the energized blast dissipation vest. Underneath is worn a waterproof layered flight suit.

Fett's gear includes two models of jetpack, one more heavily armoured and carrying a larger-bore missile. Never governed by passions or panic, Fett coolly calculates his every move, always playing to win or survive. He knows when to make use of evasion and thus outlasts both rivals and opponents.
